Cyber Human Systems at the Lalín Beekeeping Fair 2025: Innovation & Ergonomics

On 1st and 2nd February, Cyber Human Systems had the privilege of participating in the IV International Beekeeping Fair of Lalín, a prestigious event that brings together beekeepers, researchers, and cutting-edge technology companies under the grand marquee of the Carpa do Cocido do Campo da Feira.
Our presence did not go unnoticed—our exoskeletons stole the show. While the beekeeping sector has seen significant advancements in hive design and honey extraction, the physical burden of fieldwork has remained largely unchanged—until now.
Exoskeletons for Beekeeping: Less Effort, More Efficiency

During the keynote presentations, event organiser David Liñares highlighted the crucial role exoskeletons could play in modern apiculture. While innovations have transformed hives and extraction techniques, lifting and transporting honeycombs has remained a strenuous manual task.
Our exoskeletons alleviate between 20 and 30 kilograms of weight, significantly reducing physical strain. This groundbreaking technology not only enhances productivity but also helps to prevent musculoskeletal injuries, making beekeeping far more sustainable in the long term.
Hands-On Experience and Enthusiastic Reception

The impact of our technology was evident at our exhibition stand, where visitors had the opportunity to test different exoskeleton sizes and experience their benefits firsthand. The enthusiastic response—from small-scale beekeepers to industry professionals—reaffirmed the game-changing potential of exoskeletons in apiculture.
Our participation in the Lalín Beekeeping Fair 2025 underscores our commitment to innovation, ergonomics, and workplace safety across various sectors—from healthcare and industry to beekeeping. We continue to champion a future where technology and human effort work in harmony, enhancing both safety and efficiency.
