This week, Cyber Human Systems is proud to be part of the CBRN Military Congress, organized by the European Defense Fund (EDF). This event brings together representatives from the Ministries of Defense of the 27 EU member states, as well as invited companies developing cutting-edge technologies that could shape the future of defense. The working groups, known as "CapTech," focus on identifying and addressing emerging technological challenges in various defense sectors.


We have been invited to join the Human Factors working group to present GUDEX, our military exoskeleton designed for carrying heavy loads and providing protective support. During our presentation, we will not only showcase the capabilities of GUDEX but also share our insights on the future development of military exoskeletons and their role in enhancing operational effectiveness on the battlefield.



What is GUDEX?


GUDEX is an advanced military exoskeleton offering the following functionalities and features:


  • Load Support: Capable of carrying up to 40 kg of equipment, with the weight transferred to the ground.

  • March Assistance: Reduces fatigue, injury risk, and physical stress on the user.

  • Protection and Mobility: Supports protective gear without limiting the soldier’s range of movement.

  • Marching Speed: Allows for a marching speed of 4 to 10 km/h, depending on the load.

  • Full Integration: Fully compatible with body armor and anti-fragmentation vests.

  • Ruggedized: Designed to withstand extreme conditions such as rain, mud, and challenging terrain.

  • Adjustable and Ergonomic: Accommodates users from 1.50 to 2.00 meters in height and up to 120 kg in weight. It is also easy to put on and remove, ensuring comfort and robustness at all times.


At Cyber Human Systems, we are committed to developing solutions that enhance the physical capabilities of military personnel, providing ergonomic, lightweight, and adaptable technology. Our goal in participating in this congress is to foster new research projects that will drive the development of advanced European technologies for the defense sector.
